Metropolis (1927) is the most influential silent film by Fritz Lang regarded as a pioneering work of science fiction. Set in a futuristic urban dystopia, it is among the most influential films of all time and is regarded by many as a Masterpiece.
Composer/Pianist, Dmytro Morykit, combines work composed over a 30 year period with several new pieces to create an incredible new piano score which intensifies and compliments this iconic film. The dramatic theatre of the solo piano concert gives the audience a new way of experiencing both music and image and provides an inspirational evening of film and sound. The premier received a standing ovation to a sell-out audience in London. A rare even, not to be missed!
