Reflexology @ Derry Well Woman Centre

You may not pay attention to your feet, but according to reflexologists they could hold the key to your good health. The course introduces reflexology as a relaxation therapy and aims to teach the sequence of reflexology for use on family and friends.

Life Drawing Workshops - Creative Village Arts Studio

This workshop is run with a Nude model, the model can alternate from male to female from week to week and is
developed for individuals aged 16+ that would like to learn about drawing the human form as well as individuals who would like to build upon any previous experience.

This workshop is held in the relaxed setting of the large group room in Creative Village Arts.
No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome, easels, A3 drawing boards and conté pastels etc provided but please bring your own paper. The workshops are designed to run for a six week term each Tuesday night

Time:7-9pm Price: £60.00 per term. (or £10 per session dependant on availability)

A weekly class hosted by Steve Batts and Echo Echo Ensemble from Tuesday 10th February.

The movement form is a key part of Echo Echo's dance style and is accessible to anyone with an interest in dance. It can help build strength and stability as well as challenge the imagination with it's improvisory feel.

It is an open dance/movement form, accessible to everyone in which participants explore movement through supporting the weight of another person, rolling, falling, leaning, sliding and suspending.

The Reading Rooms: with the Verbal Arts Centre - Eason Foyleside

The Reading Rooms in Eason Foyleside takes place every Thursday and is open to everyone.

Using a reading aloud and shared reading setting the programme encourages participants to share personal experiences from their past, sparking memories, stimulating new thoughts and provoking conversation related to the short story and poems being used by the facilitator. The group sessions are led by a trained facilitator who has completed an intensive three day accredited training programme on how to use the reading aloud model and engage with the groups they are working with. The facilitator skilfully brings the group together and prompts conversation without pressure. Discussions are free flowing and this social aspect of the group allows for a friendly atmosphere and an opportunity to learn more about others.

Free Family Art Workshop: Onion Architecture - Void Gallery

In this free family workshop artist Karen Cassidy will explore the incredible architecture of Russian onion towers. Often clustered in groups of three and five, these ornate church domes are said to represent candles and were designed to shed snow. Using a variety of materials and working with different sizes and scales, you can work individually or in groups to create fantastic cityscapes that we will stick directly onto the wall for everyone to admire as well as art to take home and keep forever.
