ART NEWS: National Original Print Exhibition

The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers are now calling for submissions for their National Original Print Exhibition which is due to take place from Tuesday 15 – Sunday 27 September this year.
The exhibition was established by the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, with the aim of promoting the best of printmaking to a wider audience, with a call for all forms of printmaking to be entered.
The exhibition will be housed in the Bankside Gallery in London, a well-respected gallery and is situated in a great location next to the Tate Modern on London’s South Bank.
There are many reputable names on the judging panel also, such as Michael Barratt, the President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and Ciara Philips, a 2014 Turner Prize Finalist, to name but a few. The are many prizes up for grabs some of which are; Arts Club Charitable Trust Award - £1000, Printmaking Today Award – receives an Editorial Feature, Galleries Magazine Prize - Full page colour advert, so it truly is a wonderful opportunity for all local printmakers.
Selection will be made from digital submissions with an entry fee of £12.00 per entry (£8.00 for students). Selected works will then be exhibited at Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London SE1 9JH (next to Tate Modern) from Tue 15 – Sun 27 September 2015. The deadline for submissions is the 30th of June.
