The Dead Heroes Club will make a welcome return to their hometown this month by rocking it up at the Playhouse.

The progressive rock band have a reputation for powerful live shows and have gained a following worldwide. The band are made up of Liam Campbell on lead vocals, Mickey Gallagher on drums Wilson Graham on Bass, Gerry McGerigle on electric guitar and finally, Chris Norby on keyboards.

Their most recent album’ Everything is Connected’ has earned rave reviews and airplay throughout the world, while the band have been hailed as Ireland’s only prog rock band. As Classic Rock magazine put it: “Ireland has a progressive rock band of its own and one to be mentioned in the same breath as modern proggers Spock’s Beard, The Flower Kings, Glass Hammer and Porcupine Tree”. High praise indeed, and totally justified.
